How does the grout determine the quality?
Sep 13, 2018

The first aspect: fluidity, fluidity refers to the ability of the new mixed slurry to flow and uniformly fill the template under the action of self-weight or mechanical vibration. The degree of fluidity directly affects the difficulty of construction and the quality of hardened grout. If the grout is too thick, it is difficult to form and compact, and it is easy to cause defects such as internal or surface pores; if the grout is too thin, after stirring, It is prone to delamination and segregation of aggregates such as cement slurry and floating water and quartz sand, which affects the uniformity of the quality of the grout and the compactness of the forming.

The second aspect: cohesiveness and cohesiveness means that there is a certain cohesive force between the constituent materials of the fresh mixed slurry to ensure that no delamination and segregation occur, so that the grout can maintain the overall uniform and stable performance. Poor grouting is easy to cause the mud to separate from the aggregate. After pouring, honeycombs and voids are prone to occur. The cohesiveness is too large, and the fluidity of the grouting is likely to deteriorate, and the flow can not reach the construction position. It is impossible to have better contact with the contact surface and affect the quality of the watering.

The third aspect: water retention, water retention refers to the ability of the grout to maintain internal moisture. The water retaining grout does not cause serious bleeding during the construction process, and some water in the poor water retention grout is easy to The inside precipitates to the surface, leaving a lot of capillary channels in the water seepage, which becomes the internal water-permeable passage of the grout in the future. This problem occurs, which affects durability and is easily cracked in winter.
